Description
The CM Young Internship for Good Governance is a youth engagement program launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to involve educated young people in the implementation and monitoring of government schemes.
Key Points:
Objective: Improve governance by involving youth in administrative and development work.
Eligibility: Graduates or postgraduates (generally 21–30 years) who are residents of Madhya Pradesh.
Work Role: Interns assist district administration by monitoring government programs, collecting field data, preparing reports, and suggesting improvements in policy implementation.
Placement: Interns usually work with district officials such as the District Collector and other government departments.
Duration: Around 6 months to 1 year.
Stipend: Approximately ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month.
Purpose:
The program helps young people understand government functioning while strengthening transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of public welfare schemes.
