The Annapurna Bhandar Scheme (officially called the Annapurna Yojana) is a newly introduced flagship women’s welfare initiative launched by the Government of West Bengal. Effective from June 1, 2026, the scheme fulfills a major election promise made by the newly formed Suvendu Adhikari-led government.
