- If you run your business successfully for 3 years → you keep this benefit
- If you close the business early → you must return this amount
- If applicant is already receiving margin money under any other Central/State scheme, they are not eligible for margin money under this scheme

Selection Process
Applications are selected and approved through the following process:
- For projects up to ₹10 lakh, applications are screened
- Directly by General Manager of District Industry and Commerce Center - not the Task Force Committee
- For projects above ₹10 lakh are evaluated by the District Level Task Force Committee:
- Applications are scrutinized and approved by the District Industries Centre (DIC).
- Applications are evaluated by a District Level Task Force Committee, which assesses:
- Business feasibility Applicant's capability
- Market potential
- Repayment capacity
Note: Final approval is given based on the committee's evaluation.
Disbursement of Funds
- Loans are sanctioned and disbursed through banks and financial institutions
- Margin money is released after loan disbursement
- Interest subsidy is provided on a quarterly reimbursement basis
- Payments are processed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanisms
