The Government of Gujarat has now launched the Gujarat Gyan Guru Quiz 2026, giving students and citizens another opportunity to participate in an online MCQ-based competition and compete for cash prizes.
The Gujarat Gyan Guru Quiz 2026 (G3Q) is a statewide online quiz initiative of the Government of Gujarat that allows students and citizens to test their knowledge through multiple-choice questions and compete for cash prizes. Registration for the 2026 edition starts on 18 September 2026, while the weekly quiz begins on 20 September 2026. The competition will run through eight weekly rounds before progressing to the district and state-level stages.
The quiz is open to students studying in Classes 9 to 12, college and university students, and eligible citizens of Gujarat. How the Competition Works

Level 1: Taluka and Municipal Corporation (Weekly)
- The quiz runs across 265 talukas and 17 municipal corporations of Gujarat.
- Held every week for 8 weeks, with a fresh set of winners declared each week.
- Students: top 10 school winners and top 10 college winners are declared per taluka; top 30 school winners and top 30 college winners are declared per municipal corporation.
- Other citizens: 25 women and 25 men are declared winners per district and per municipal corporation, every week.
- A total of 50,560 student winners and 20,400 citizen winners are declared across all 8 weeks at this level.
Level 2: District Level
- Held once, after the 8 weekly rounds are complete, across all 34 districts of Gujarat.
- Only student winners from the taluka and municipal corporation level compete at this stage.
- 25 school winners and 25 college winners are declared per district, adding up to 1,700 student winners statewide.
- Other citizens do not have a district-level round. Their weekly taluka/municipal corporation winners go directly to the state-level quiz.
Level 3: State Level (Grand Finale)
- The final round of the competition, held once at the state level.
- 75 school winners and 75 college winners are declared from among the district-level student winners, adding up to 150 student winners.
- 1,000 citizen winners (500 women and 500 men) are declared from among the taluka and municipal corporation level citizen winners.
- Winners are honoured at a closing ceremony held on the same day as the Grand Finale.
G3Q 2026 Quiz Schedule
The Gujarat Gyan Guru Quiz 2026 will conduct the Taluka and Municipal Corporation level quiz in two phases over eight weeks. Registration remains open throughout the quiz period, allowing eligible participants to participate in any of the eight weekly rounds. After the weekly rounds, the competition moves to the District level and then to the State-level Grand Finale.
