Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

The Haryana Drone Udyami Yojana, also known as the Haryana Drone Entrepreneur Scheme, is a unique initiative that aims to create 500 Drone Entrepreneurs across Haryana. The scheme has been introduced to help Scheduled Caste (SC) youth learn modern drone technology and build their own businesses. Through this program, selected candidates can receive free drone pilot training and develop the skills needed to provide drone services in agriculture, surveying, mapping, aerial photography, videography, and other sectors.

Under the scheme, selected candidates will receive 8 days of free training at a DGCA-approved Drone Pilot Training Centre. The training is designed to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge of drone operations. Beneficiaries will also receive free accommodation, food, and travel facilities during the training period, allowing them to complete the course without any additional financial burden.

The Haryana Drone Entrepreneur Scheme is open to Haryana residents belonging to the Scheduled Caste category who are between 18 and 45 years of age, have passed at least Class 10, and have an annual family income of up to ₹3 lakh. The initiative aims to encourage self-employment among young people by equipping them with industry-relevant skills and helping them take advantage of opportunities in the rapidly expanding drone services sector.

Along with this scheme, Haryana has also introduced the Haryana Drone Didi Scheme, which focuses on encouraging drone usage in agriculture and supporting women-led groups. Together, these initiatives aim to increase the use of modern drone services across rural and urban areas while creating skilled drone operators and entrepreneurs in the state.

The Haryana Drone Udyami Yojana aims to create 500 Drone Entrepreneurs across the state and is open to eligible Scheduled Caste youth from both rural and urban areas. Since the number of seats is limited, only a select number of applicants will be chosen for training. The scheme further indicates that only one candidate may be selected from a particular area, creating an opportunity for selected beneficiaries to establish themselves as local drone service providers and serve farmers, businesses, and other customers in their region.

After completing the training, participants can provide services such as crop pesticide spraying, fertiliser spraying, smart farming support, land surveying, mapping, aerial photography, and videography. The scheme also highlights support for candidates who wish to establish their own drone-based ventures. Depending on the services offered and local demand, trained drone entrepreneurs may have the potential to generate annual earnings of up to ₹9 lakh to ₹10 lakh.

Interested candidates should complete their Drone Udyami Yojana registration before the last date. Applications can be submitted until 25 June 2026, 5:00 PM. Since only 500 seats are available across Haryana, eligible applicants are advised to apply early. The registration campaign indicates that applications may be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to eligibility and seat availability.
