Scheme Benefits

Financial Assistance

• In-well boring – Up to ₹40,000.

Eligibility Requirements

To receive benefits under the Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana, applicants must fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• The applicant must possess a valid Scheduled Tribe (ST) caste certificate.
• The applicant's agricultural land should be recorded in his/her name with valid 7/12 (Satbara) and 8-A land records.
• The applicant must have an Aadhaar Card.
• The applicant must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account to receive the scheme benefit through DBT.
• Applicants belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families will be given first preference.
• There is no annual family income limit to avail the scheme benefits.
• The applicant should normally own agricultural land measuring between 0.40 hectare and 6.00 hectares.
• If two or more eligible Scheduled Tribe farmers individually own less than 0.40 hectare of land, they can apply jointly provided their combined landholding is at least 0.40 hectare.
• The maximum landholding limit of 6.00 hectares does not apply to applicants belonging to BPL families.
• Priority in beneficiary selection will be given to:
  • Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
  • Scheduled Tribe farmers.
  • Individual Forest Rights (IFR) landholders under the Forest Rights Act, 2006.
• A beneficiary who has already received the full benefit under this scheme cannot receive the same benefit again for the next five years.
• Applicants who have already received assistance for the same purpose under any Tribal Development agricultural scheme or a scheme funded under Article 275(1) of the Constitution of India are not eligible for the same benefit under this scheme.
