Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme is the prominent scheme of Uttarakhand Government for the welfare of disabled persons.
• The main objective behind launching this pension scheme is to provide financial support to those disabled persons who are not able to earn money on their own.
• Department of Social Welfare of Uttarakhand Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme is also called "Uttarakhand Financial Assistance Scheme for Disabled Persons" or "Uttarakhand Disabled Pension Scheme".
• Uttarakhand Government will provide monthly financial assistance as a pension to all eligible disable beneficiaries
• Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per month will be provided to disabled beneficiary under Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme.
• Only those Disable Beneficiary are eligible for monthly pension who belongs to BPL Category OR whose Annual Family Income should not be more than Rs. 48,000/- per Year.
• Beneficiaries can apply for monthly disability pension through both Online and Offline Application Forms.
• Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme Online Application Form is available on 2 portals of Government of Uttarakhand :-
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
• Disabled Beneficiary can apply for monthly pension on any of the above mentioned portals of Uttarakhand Government.
• Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme is also available at District Social Welfare Office of Uttarakhand Government.

• The monthly financial assistance provided to Disable Beneficiaries under Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme are :-
  • Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per Month.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a Resident of Uttarakhand.
• Applicant should be Disabled having Disability of 40% or More.
• Applicant should be belong to BPL Category OR The Annual Income should be below Rs. 48,000/-.

Online Application Process

• Disable Beneficiary can apply for Monthly Disability Pension through Online Application Form of Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme.
• Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme Online Application Form is available at the below mentioned portals of Government of Uttarakhand :-
  • Uttarakhand Samajik Suraksha Rajya Portal.
  • Uttarakhand Apuni Sarkar Portal.
• Beneficiary has to Register themselves first.
• Login on the portal after registration and fill the Disability Pension Scheme Application Form.
• Upload all the documents on the portal.
• Click on submit button to submit Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme Application Form.
• Application Forms of Disability Pension will be verified by District Social Welfare Officer.
• Disability Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per Month will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary after verification.
• Pension Amount provided under Disability Pension Scheme will be credited once in a 4 month.
• Disability Beneficiary can check their Status of Application of Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme Online.

Offline Application Process

• Disable Beneficiaries can also apply for Monthly Disability Pension under Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme is available at Social Welfare Department District Office.
• Collect the Application Form and fill it.
• Attach all the required documents.
• Submit the Application Form of Disability Pension Scheme with all the documents in Social Welfare Department District Office.
• District Social Welfare Officer will verify the received application forms.
• Monthly Disability Pension of Rs. 1,500/- per month will be credited in the bank account of Disable beneficiary.
