Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

Farmers work hard throughout the year to grow crops. They deserve fair prices for their produce. When farmers don't get good prices, they feel demotivated, and farming becomes difficult for them. This affects everyone because food production is important for the country.

The Central Government helps farmers by fixing a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops. MSP means the minimum price at which the government buys crops from farmers. This ensures farmers get at least some guaranteed money for their hard work. However, the Rajasthan Government decided to help farmers even more by giving them extra money on top of the MSP. This is called the Krishak Samarthan Yojana.

Under this scheme, the Rajasthan Government gives farmers an additional Rs 150 per quintal on wheat. This bonus is added to the MSP announced by the Central Government. Some people also call this scheme "Krishak Samarthan Scheme" or "Kisan Samarthan Yojana". The main goal is simple - make sure farmers get better prices for their wheat.

For this year's wheat season 2026-27, the Central Government fixed the MSP at Rs 2,585 per quintal. Now, with the Rajasthan Government's bonus of Rs 150, farmers will get a total of Rs 2,735 per quintal. But remember, farmers will get this bonus only when they sell wheat at government procurement centres (purchase centres). If they sell anywhere else, they won't get the bonus.

To get this benefit, farmers must register online. The registration started on February 1, 2026. Farmers can register anytime, even at night, because the portal works 24 hours. The last date to register is May 25, 2026. Farmers need to visit https://mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in/ to register. During registration, farmers need to upload their Janaadhaar Card and land papers. If the land is rented, they need to upload the rent agreement as well.

The government will buy wheat from March 10, 2026, to June 30, 2026. After registration, farmers will get an SMS token on their mobile. This SMS will tell them which date and time they should come to sell wheat. Farmers need to go to the same centre they selected during registration. They must carry original documents like the Janaadhaar Card and the Girdawari when they go to sell wheat.

The District Collector will supervise the entire buying process in each district. This ensures everything runs smoothly and farmers face no problems. After selling wheat, the payment will be directly sent to the farmer's bank account linked with Janaadhaar. This makes the payment process transparent and quick. The Food and Civil Supplies Department runs this scheme. If farmers have any questions or problems, they can call the helpline number or the toll-free number.

• Under Krishak Samarthan Yojana, farmers in Rajasthan are entitled to the following benefits : -

Eligibility Requirements

• To receive the bonus under the Krishak Samarthan Yojana, farmers must meet the following eligibility criteria : -
  • Must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan
  • Must register online on the Food and Civil Supplies Department Portal
  • Must possess a Janaadhaar Card with a linked bank account
  • Must submit rental agreement/lease/self-declaration (if land is not owned)
  • Must present the latest original Girdawari copy at the procurement centre

• Farmers must present the following documents for the Krishak Samarthan Yojana : -

Steps to Apply

The Rajasthan Government has made online registration mandatory for farmers who wish to avail benefits under the Krishak Samarthan Yojana. Farmers can either register themselves online or visit their nearest E-Mitra Centre for registration assistance. The registration process is completely digital and requires farmers to visit the official portal at https://mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in/.

The online registration window opened on February 1, 2026, and eligible farmers have until May 25, 2026, to complete their registration. This extended timeline ensures that all farmers get adequate time to register and upload their required documents. Missing the registration deadline will make farmers ineligible for the scheme benefits for the current season.

Registration Process

• For Krishak Samarthan Yojana Registration, farmers must visit the Food and Civil Supplies Department Website.
• On the home page, click on the 'Farmer Registration for Wheat Purchase'.
  
• Read the important instructions mentioned on the page.
  
• Click on the Farmers Registration Link.
• Select the Crop Type from the list i.e. Wheat-Rabi (2026-2027)
  
• Enter the Janaadhaar Card Number and click the 'Search'.
• A list of family members will appear on the portal.
• Select the name of the member in whose name the Girdawari is registered.
• The details of the member will be displayed on the screen.
• Enter the details which are missing.
• Select the purchase centre from the list where the farmer wants to sell the crop.
• Choose whether the land is self-cultivated or rented.
• If the land is rented, upload the documents of the land owner.
• Select the district, tehsil, and village from the list.
• Enter the required details related to the land and press the "Add Land details".
• Click the "Save record" button, to complete the registration.
• Registration details will be sent to the registered mobile number of the farmers.
• After registration, the selected centre will send a token via SMS, providing the date and time for selling the crop.
