Request for Guidance on SVMS International Component for Specialised Creative AI Master's at Deakin University

I am a permanent resident of Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, and I intend to pursue the Master of Artificial Intelligence for Design and Creative Practice at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. My proposed field of study is Creative AI / Generative AI / AI Filmmaking / Creative Technology. This is an emerging academic area, and currently only a limited number of universities globally offer dedicated postgraduate programmes combining Generative AI with filmmaking, design, media and professional creative practice. I am already working professionally as a Video Editor & AI Content Creator with Pro Marketer, Toronto, where my work involves video production, Generative AI, AI-assisted content creation and emerging creative workflows. I understand that the International Component of the Swami Vivekananda Merit Scholarship Scheme currently refers to universities within the Top 100 of the QS Overall World University Rankings. Deakin University does not presently fall within that criterion. However, Deakin offers a highly specialised programme specifically focused on Artificial Intelligence for Design and Creative Practice, with study in Generative AI, creative production, research, industry practice and related areas such as film and television. Comparable postgraduate programmes in this exact field are still very limited internationally. I would therefore like to understand whether there is any scope for special consideration for emerging and highly specialised postgraduate disciplines, where the choice of university is based on the uniqueness and relevance of the programme rather than only the university's overall QS ranking. My long-term ambition is to develop expertise in AI-assisted filmmaking and Creative AI, and eventually contribute to and represent West Bengal in this emerging field of creative technology. I have also emailed the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, seeking official guidance. I would be grateful for any information regarding the appropriate authority, process or provision through which such a case may be considered.
