Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Rekha Gupta launched the Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program on 30-06-2025.
• The main objective behind starting this internship scheme is to provide real-time experience to young and dynamic students of Delhi and provide them an opportunity to be a part of the policy and decision-making of the Delhi Government.
• Administrative Reforms Department of the Delhi Government is the nodal department of this program.
• Internship of 3 months in Government Departments with a monthly stipend will be provided by the Delhi Government Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program.
• Students who are in the age group of 18 to 30 years and currently studying in Graduation or Post Graduation Courses are eligible to apply for 3-month internship.
• Selected Students as interns will receive moa nthly stipend of Rs. 20,000/- under the Viksit Delhi Mukhyamantri Internship Program.
• During the internship period, 5 days leave will also provided to selected interns.
• At the end of the internship, interns will receive a signed certificate from the head of the department.
• A total of 150 students will be selected for an internship under the Chief Minister Internship Program of the Delhi Government.
• Beneficiary students can apply for an internship and take part in the screening test process by registering themselves on Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program Official Website.
• The last date of registration is 10th of July 2025.
• Eligible Students can also apply for Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme which is a central government internship scheme.

Eligibility Requirement

• Students who are Permanent Residents and voters of Delhi are Eligible.
• Students should be currently studying in any Graduation or Post Graduation Course.
• Students' Age should be 18 to 30 years.
• The marks of Students in Class 12th should be 70% or more.

• Certificate of Caste. (If belong to special category)

Steps to Apply

• Delhi Government launched the official portal through which students can register themselves under the Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program.
• Open the Website and choose Registration.
  
• Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program Registration Form will appear in which students will have to enter the basic details about themselves.
• Upload your Aadhaar Card, Address Proof, Date of Birth Proof and Class 12th Certificate.
• Beneficiary Students will have to click and upload a live selfie on the portal.
• Portal will also verify the mobile number of student through OTP.
• After registration, Login with your Email and Password.
• Filled the Online Application Form of the Delhi Chief Minister Internship Program.
• Screening Test will be conducted at the time of filling the form in which beneficiary students will have to answer 4 questions in 300 words.
• It is to be advisable for students to not to use AI or copy-paste from anywhere as it leads to rejection of candidature.
• The government will select 300 students initially on the basis of screening test results and call the selected students for 1 day boot camp.
• Finally, 150 students will be selected for an internship under the Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program after the bootcamp.
• Eligible Students can take part in the screening tests of the Delhi Government's CM Internship Program till 10-07-2025.

Procedure of Selection

• The government will conduct the screening test at the time of registration under the Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program.
• Screening Test is a subjective test in which candidates will have to answer 4 questions in 300 words.
• The result of the screening test will be announced on 21-07-2025.
• 300 Students will be initially selected based on a screening test and they will be called for a 1-day boot camp which is going to be organized on 10-08-2025.
• Essay writing exam will be conducted at boot camp among 300 selected students in which students will have to write essay on 1 topic.
• On the basis of the result of the essay writing exam, 150 students will be finally selected for an internship under the Delhi Chief Minister Internship Program.
• Carrying original documents at the time of attending boot camp is necessary.
• 3 months internship with a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000/- will be provided to selected students.
• Viksit Delhi CM Internship Program internship will end on 27-09-2025.
• Boot camp will going to be organized at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.
