No. The Mukhyamantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni is exclusively meant for eligible girl students. The Assam Government has launched the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Babu Aasoni to provide similar financial assistance to eligible boy students pursuing higher education.

Generally, no. Girl students receiving a scooter under the Dr. Banikanta Kakati Merit Award are not eligible for the Mukhyamantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni. However, students who opt out of receiving the scooter may apply under this scheme. This restriction does not apply to eligible Postgraduate students.
Married girl students are generally not eligible. However, married students enrolled in Postgraduate or B.Ed. programmes can apply if they satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Yes. Existing beneficiaries must submit a fresh application with updated details every academic year. They must also fulfil the continuation conditions prescribed under the scheme guidelines.
No. Financial assistance is provided for a maximum of 10 months in an academic year.
The Government does not provide financial assistance under the scheme during the months of June and July.

Regarding not getting MMNMA 2.0 November money
Sir, with due respect, I would like to inform you that I have not received my November payment. I am a 1st semester student of Jagannath Barooah University, pursuing my PG. I have filled out both the online (Google form) and offline forms, and I received the October payment, which was distributed through cheque. However, despite this, I have not received the payment for November. Kindly look into the matter.

I'm a PG student of Jagannath Barooah University, and my account passbook has a major error that incorrect IFSC code. I've provided the clg authority my correct account number and IFSC code yesterday. But till now I have not received the money. Please the higher authority take my matter as important, as there was not my fault.

Requesting to include Professional Courses in MMNM Scheme
Too lately I have come to know that the Assam's Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina (MMNM) Aasoni in the Graduation and Post-Graduation categories covers only the general Course of B.A./B.Sc/B.Com and M.A./M.Sc/M.Com/B.Ed, respectively, denying professional Courses like engineering, medical, management, agriculture, veterinary, law, etc.
May I hereby request the Hon'ble CM of Assam to revisit the list of eligible Graduation and Post-Graduation Courses, as many girl students exist in professional Courses also, needing financial assistance for pursuing their professional studies?

Not received Nijut Moina Asoni money
would like to inform you about an issue regarding my Nijut Moina Scheme payment .I have received the payment only once through cheque.When I contacted the college authority about the matter,I was informed that my account number had been entered incorrectly earlier.
The college authority has already corrected my account number and submitted the update details again.However,I have not received the payment for this month and the remaining pending amount.
