YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme

Introduction

• YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme is the major welfare scheme of the Andhra Pradesh Government.
• It was started to provide the financial assitance to the needy people in the form of pension.
• Department of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development is the Nodal Department of YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme.
• Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty, Andhra Pradesh is the Implementing Agency of this Scheme.
• YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme is one of the Welfare Scheme under Navarathnalu Project of Andhra Pradesh Government.
• Under YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme, Government of Andhra Pradesh will provide monthly pension ranging from Rs. 2750/- to Rs. 10,000/-.
• Amount of Monthly Pension varies according to the category of people which they belong.
• Only the mentioned categories such as Old Age, Widow, Toddy Tappers etc are eligible to avail the benefit of YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme.
• Eligible people can apply through Application to avail the benefit.

Benefits of Scheme

Follwoing Financial Amount of Pension will be provided to Eligibile People :-

Eligibility

• Residents of Andhra Pradesh.
• Person should be belong to below mentioned category :-
  • Old Age Person.
  • Widow.
  • Toddy Tappers.
  • Weavers.
  • Single Women.
  • Fishermen.
  • ART (PLHIV) Person.
  • Traditional Cobbler.
  • Transgender.
  • Dappu Artists.
  • Person Affected with Chronic Kidney Disease.
• Total Family Income should be :-
  • Less than Rs. 10,000/- in Rural Areas.
  • Less than Rs. 12,000/- in Urban Areas.
• Total Land Holding should be :-
  • Less than 3 Acre of Wet Land, OR
  • Less than 10 Acre of Dry Land, OR
  • Total 10 Acre, both Wet and Dry.
• No person in a family should be Government Employee or Government Pensioner.
• No Family Should own Four Wheeler.
• Monthly Electricity Consumption should be below less than 300 Units.
• No Family Member should be a Income Tax Payee.
• Should Own less than 1000 Sq. Ft of Residential or Commercial Area.

Mandatory Age Limit under YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme

Documents Required

• Aadhar Card.
• Any One Document for Proof of Age :-
  • Voter ID.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Medical Certificate.
• Bank Account Details.
• Ration/Food Security Card.
• Self Declaration.
• Passport Size Photo.
• Mobile Number.
• The following documents will be needed as per applicant requirement :-
  • Husband Death Certificate. (For Widow Applicant).
  • Husband Aadhar Card. (For Widow Applicant).
  • SADAREM Certificate. (For Disable Applicant).
  • Toddy Tapper Card. (For Toddy Tapper Applicants).
  • Weavers Card. (For Weaver Applicant).
  • Unmarried Affidavit. (For Single Women).
  • Medical Certificate of HIV-AIDS Applicant.
  • 6 Months Certificate for ART Pensioners.

How to Apply

• Applicant can apply for YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme through Application.
• Application Form will be collected from the Office of Village and Ward Secreteriats.
• Duly filled Application Form attached with the required documents will be submitted in the Office of Village and Ward Secreteriats.
• Welfare and Education Assistant or Ward Welfare Development Secretary will upload the received applications on YSR Pension Kanuka Portal.
• Accepted Applications will be set to the Mandal Parishad Development Office for further process.
• Once the application is verified from all level, then the amount of pension will be transferred directly into the beneficiary account.

• Families having below mentioned vehicles are eligible to apply under YSR Pension Kanuka Scheme :-
  • Taxi.
  • Tractor.
  • Autos.
• Only one pension will be provided in the family.
• More than one pension will be allowed in the below mentioned scenario :-
  • Family having Disabled Person with 40% or more Disability.
  • Dialysis Patient or Severe Mental Retardation or PLHIV Patient.
• Government extended the financial assistance to the people suffering from :-
  • Thalassemia Major Cases.
  • Sickle Cell Diseases.
  • Severe Hemophilia.
  • Bilateral Elephantiasis.
  • Paralysis.
  • Severe Muscular Dystrophy.
  • Chronic Kidney Disease Patients.
  • Multi Deformity Leprosy.
  • Kidney/Liver/Heart Transplant.
• Application sanction process will be mandatorily completed within 72 hours from the date of receipt of application.
