Delhi Laxmi Yojana is a flagship women's financial assistance scheme launched by the Delhi Government to provide monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,500 to eligible women belonging to economically weaker families in the National Capital Territory. Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive the assistance directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, providing annual financial support of Rs. 30,000. The scheme aims to strengthen the financial security of women, promote their economic independence, and help them meet day-to-day household expenses through regular government assistance.

The Delhi Government has now launched the official online application portal for Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, allowing eligible women to submit their applications online. The portal enables applicants to register, complete the application form, upload the required documents, check the official eligibility conditions, track their application status using their registered mobile number, and access citizen login services. After verification of the application and supporting documents, the monthly financial assistance will be credited directly to the beneficiary's Aadhaar-seeded bank account through the DBT system.

Delhi Laxmi Yojana has been introduced in place of the previously proposed Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana. The scheme also replaces the earlier proposed Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, under which no financial assistance was released before the change in government. The Delhi Government has earmarked around Rs. 5,100 crore for implementing the scheme, which is expected to benefit a large number of eligible women across Delhi.

The Department of Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi is implementing the scheme through the dedicated Delhi Laxmi Yojana portal. Eligible women can now complete the online registration by entering their Aadhaar details, filling in personal and family information, providing bank account details for DBT, uploading the prescribed documents, and submitting the application online. The concerned department will verify the submitted information, and only eligible applicants will be approved to receive the monthly financial assistance under the scheme.
