Father suffering from severe liver disease – Financial assistance required for Liver Transplant treatment (in future lungs transplant)

Respected Sir/Madam, I am Shubham Gupta, resident of Q.N. 64, Schoolpara, Koldiha, Bakirma, District Surguja, Chhattisgarh – 497001. My father Shri Santosh Prasad Gupta is suffering from severe chronic liver disease. Various major hospitals and specialist doctors including AIIMS Raipur, BHU, government hospitals of Raipur, Ambikapur hospital and Hyderabad hospitals have advised us to consult higher centers for Liver Transplant Evaluation / Advanced Transplant Management. Some doctors have also informed that Lung Transplant may be required in future. Medical reports show serious conditions including Cirrhotic Liver Disease, Portal Hypertension, Massive Splenomegaly, Pleural Effusion and other complications. We are trying to arrange treatment at Christian Medical College Vellore. Doctors have informed that the estimated treatment cost may be around Rs. 25 to 30 lakhs and may increase further if Lung Transplant becomes necessary. I belong to a middle-class family. Compensation received from land acquired for road construction is being used for my father’s treatment, but we are now financially unable to continue such expensive treatment. Our savings and available resources have already been exhausted.
