Steps to Apply

The CGMS registration process is simple, but the login method is different for government/aided schools and private schools. Follow the steps below and enter the student's details carefully.

• Open the CGMS Portal and select theRegister Here option.
• For a government or aided school student, the school teacher should enter the 8-digit Teacher Code. The registered mobile number will be used for OTP verification and login.
• For a private school student, select the private school option and enter the student's 18-digit CTS ID. Click the arrow button to continue.
• After login, the student list will appear on the dashboard. Find the concerned student's name and click theRegister button.
• In theStudent Details section, check the information already shown on the portal and fill in the remaining details. Upload the birth certificate if asked. The guide allows JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF files up to 5 MB.
• Next, complete the Education Details section. Check the student's school and academic information and select the applicable RTE-related option, if required.
• In theCategory & Disability section, select the applicable social category. If the student has a disability, enter the disability percentage and upload the required certificate.
• Complete theContact & Submit section with the required district, block/taluka, mobile number and other contact details.
• Check all the information once before submitting the form. If everything is correct, tick the confirmation checkbox and clickSubmit Registration.
• After registration, keep the submitted details safely. Further instructions regarding scholarship or residential school preference and the next selection process will be available through the CGMS system.

Scholarship Renewal and Continuation

Gyan Sadhana is intended to support selected students beyond the examination year, from Class 9 through Class 12. However, receiving the scholarship in the first year does not mean that the benefit continues automatically without conditions.

• The scholarship is intended to continue during Classes 9 to 12, subject to the conditions of the scheme.
