Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

In a landmark cabinet meeting held on March 23, 2026, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, the state cabinet approved the Shaurya Sankalp Parshikshan Yojana 2026, a powerful new initiative dedicated to empowering OBC youth with the skills and training they need to join the armed forces, police, Home Guard, and other security agencies.

The name of this scheme says it all: Shaurya means bravery, Sankalp means determination, and Parshikshan means training. Together, these elements combine to give OBC youth a real opportunity to serve their country in uniform.

Under the Shaurya Sankalp Parshikshan Yojana, the Madhya Pradesh Government provides 4 months of free residential training to eligible youth. The government aims to prepare 4,000 young men and women every year for the next three years through this programme. To empower women candidates, 35 per cent of the seats have been reserved for female applicants.

A similar scheme was also announced by the government in 2025, called MP PARTH Yojana, which fulfils similar objectives.

In the initial stage, the training under the Shaurya Sankalp Parshikshan Yojana takes place at 40 centres spread across 10 locations in the state, with separate facilities for male and female candidates. To make sure that no financial difficulty stops a young person from completing their training, the government also pays a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,000 for male trainees and Rs. 1,100 for female trainees throughout the training period.

Since the scheme has been approved but not yet officially launched, and its guidelines are yet to be released, the application process and further implementation details will be announced by the Madhya Pradesh Government in due course.

Scheme Benefits
