Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• Telangana Government started a welfare scheme for women belonging to the minority community on 19-06-2025, named Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana.
• As the name suggests, this scheme is specifically launched for the welfare of women belonging to minority communities.
• The primary objective of the government in launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to minority women in the state, enabling them to establish a small business and become self-employed and independent.
• This scheme will be run in the state by the Minorities Finance Corporation of the Telangana Government.
• A one-time financial grant will be given to all eligible women under Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana to start their own small business.
• Women beneficiaries will get Rs. 50,000/- financial help directly in their bank account under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana of the Telangana Government.
• Only divorced, widows, orphans, destitute, and single/ spinster women of the minority community between 21 years to 55 years of age are eligible to avail the benefits of Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana.
• In the case of single/ unmarried/ spinster women applicants, the age of the beneficiary should be between 45 years to 55 years.
• Interested women who want to start their own business can apply for Rs. 50,000/- financial help under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Scheme of the Telangana Government.
• The online application form of the Indiramma Minority Mahila Scheme is available on the Online Beneficiary Management and Monitoring System.
• The last date to apply for this scheme is 6th October 2025.
• Eligible Women Applicants can also apply for "Sewing Machine Scheme" in which a free-of-cost sewing machine will be provided and "Mahalakshmi Scheme" in which a monthly assistance of Rs. 2,500/-, free travel in buses, and a gas cylinder at Rs. 500/- will be provided.

Scheme Benefits

• Beneficiaries will receive financial support to start their self-employment businesses.
• Every eligible woman beneficiary will receive Rs. 50,000/- to start a business activity.

Eligibility Requirement

• Women from Telangana who have a ration card can apply for this scheme.
• The women applicant's age should be between 21 to 55 years.
• Minimum Educational Qualification should be Class 5th passed.
• This scheme is mainly for women who fall under any one of these categories :-
  • Divorcee
  • Widow
  • Orphan
  • Destitute
  • Single/ Unmarried/ Spinster (age between 45–55 years)
• Eligible women will get financial help to support themselves.
• Income limit for applying is :-
  • Up to Rs. 1.5 lakh per year in the Rural Area.
  • Up to Rs. 2 lakh per year in the Urban Area.
• Women from any one of the minority communities are only eligible to apply :-
  • Muslim
  • Buddhist
  • Parsi
  • Jain
  • Sikh

• Aadhaar Card.
• Ration Card/ Food Security Card.
• Income Certificate.
• Khula/ Divorce Certificate. (For Divorcee Applicant)
• Recent Photo.
• PAN Card.
• Details of Bank Account.
• Father Aadhaar Card.
• Mobile Number and Email ID.
• Any Documents Related to Education.
• Certificate from Tehsildar/ MRO.

Steps to Apply

• Women beneficiaries of Telangana can apply for financial help of Rs. 50,000/- to start their own business under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana by filling out the online application form.
• The online application form is available on the Telangana Government's Online Beneficiary Management and Monitoring System (OBMMS).
• Visit the OBMMS portal and click on "Apply Online for Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana Registration Form".
  
• After that, the registration form will open on your screen.
• Women applicants need to fill in the details mentioned below :-
  • Name as per Aadhaar.
  • Aadhaar Number.
  • Food Security Card Number.
  • Beneficiary Type.
  • Type of Financial Assistance.
  • Scheme Name.
  • Name of the Unit.
• The applicant woman will have to provide the other details in the online application form of Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana :-
  • Location details
  • Sector details
  • Personal details of the applicant.
• Women's Application will then have to upload all required documents
• After filling in the form, read the declaration carefully and click on the Submit button to submit it.
• Once submitted, the officials of the Minorities Finance Corporation will verify the received application form.
• A final list of eligible and selected beneficiaries will be prepared and published in the public domain.
• The financial assistance of Rs. 50,000/- under Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana will then be directly transferred to the applicant's bank account by the Telangana Government.
• Online applications started on 19 September 2025 and the last date to apply is 6 October 2025.
