Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

The Telangana Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme is a livelihood-support initiative introduced for women belonging to the Backwards Classes (BC) category. Under this scheme, eligible BC women will receive automatic sewing machines worth ₹12,000 with 100% subsidy. The government aims to help trained women use their tailoring skills for self-employment and create a sustainable source of income.

Telangana has previously provided sewing machines to women under other welfare initiatives. For example, under Indiramma Mahila Shakti, the government provided free domestic sewing machines costing ₹7,830 per unit to poor and unemployed minority women during 2024-25. The new Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme is a separate initiative specifically for BC women, with broader constituency-wise coverage and automatic sewing machines.

Under the new scheme, the government plans to provide machines to 1,000 eligible BC women in each of Telangana's 119 Assembly constituencies, covering around 1.19 lakh women. Women from both rural and urban areas can apply. The scheme therefore gives eligible trained women an opportunity to obtain an automatic sewing machine without paying its cost.

Applicants must belong to the BC category and have completed tailoring training. The annual family income must not exceed ₹1.5 lakh for rural applicants and ₹2 lakh for urban applicants, with income verified through a MeeSeva Income Certificate. Applicants must also provide their MeeSeva Caste Certificate details and other information required in the online application form.

The Intinta Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme application form is available online. Applicants can apply through the Telangana Online Beneficiary Management and Monitoring System (OBMMS) portal by entering the required details and uploading the prescribed attachments. The application form is for the 2026-27 financial year, and the announced application period is from 15 August to 15 September 2026 (extended to 30 September 2026).

Latest Update: Application Deadline Extended

The Telangana government has extended the last date to apply for the Telangana Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme. Eligible BC women can now submit their online applications until 30 September 2026. The earlier application deadline was 15 September 2026.

Applicants who meet the eligibility conditions should complete the application through the Telangana Online Beneficiary Management and Monitoring System (OBMMS) portal before the revised deadline. Women who have not yet submitted their applications can use the extended application window to provide their details and upload the required documents.

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant must be a woman aged between 18 and 55 years.
• The applicant must belong to the Backwards Classes (BC) category.
• Women from both rural and urban areas can apply for the scheme.
• The applicant must have completed tailoring training and provide a valid Tailoring Training Certificate.
• Minimum educational qualification is Class 5 pass and above
• The applicant must have an annual family income of not more than ₹1.5 lakh if she belongs to a rural area.
• The annual family income must not exceed ₹2 lakh for applicants from urban areas.
• The applicant must provide a MeeSeva Income Certificate to verify the annual family income.
• The applicant must provide a valid MeeSeva Caste Certificate and details of the applicable BC sub-caste.
• The applicant must provide her Aadhaar details while submitting the application.

Steps to Apply

Eligible BC women can apply for the Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme through the online application form. Applicants must enter their personal, caste, income, educational, tailoring training and address details and upload the required attachments. Eligible applicants can submit their applications before its deadline, i.e, 30 September 2026.

1. Applicants need to visit the Telangana Online Beneficiary Management and Monitoring System (OBMMS) Portal to apply for the scheme.
2. From the home page, click on the "Apply Online for Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme" link.
   
3. The application form will appear on the screen. 
   
4. Enter your personal details including your name as per Aadhaar, Aadhaar number, Ration Card/Food Security Card number, father's/husband's name, date of birth, gender, marital status and mobile number.
5. Enter your caste and income details by providing the MeeSeva Caste Certificate number, BC sub-caste, MeeSeva Income Certificate number and annual income.
6. Provide your education and tailoring training details by selecting your educational qualification and stating whether you have completed tailoring training.
7. Enter your residential details such as district, Assembly constituency, mandal/municipality, gram panchayat, pin code, house number and correspondence address.
8. Upload the required attachments, including your photograph and Tailoring Training Certificate.
   1. The form accepts JPG/PNG files and specifies a file size of more than 50 KB and less than 1024 KB.
9. Check the self-declaration after reading the declaration confirming that the information provided in the application is correct.
10. Preview the completed application and carefully check all entered details and uploaded documents before submitting it.
11. Submit the application online and keep the application details or acknowledgement safely for future reference.
