Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

Starting a business often requires substantial financial support, which can be a major challenge for aspiring entrepreneurs from economically weaker sections. To address this issue and encourage self-employment, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has introduced the Madhya Pradesh Pichhda Varg Tatha Alpsankhyak Udyam Yojana. The scheme is designed to support individuals belonging to Backward Class and Minority communities by providing access to bank-linked financial assistance and interest subsidies for establishing new enterprises.

Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries can avail bank-linked financial assistance ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh for manufacturing units and ₹1 lakh to ₹25 lakh for service-sector enterprises. To make business financing more affordable, the government also provides an interest subsidy of 3% per annum on the sanctioned loan for a maximum period of seven years. This support helps entrepreneurs reduce borrowing costs and focus on building sustainable and growth-oriented businesses.

The scheme is available to permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh belonging to Backward Class or Minority communities. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age, have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination, possess a valid digital caste certificate, and have an annual family income not exceeding ₹12 lakh. In addition, the applicant should not be a beneficiary of any other State or Central Government self-employment scheme.

Steps to Apply

• Step 1: Visit the Official Portal
  • Go to the Samast MP Online Portal.
  • Before starting the application process, ensure that all required documents are available, scanned clearly, and saved in the prescribed file format and size.
• Step 2: Login or Register Yourself
  • In the homepage click on log in section.
  • If you already have an account on the portal, log in using your User ID and Password.
  • New users must first complete the registration process by providing basic details such Samagra Id, linked mobile number, and captcha.
  • After successful registration, log in to your account.
• Step 3: Select the Relevant Scheme
  • Once logged in, browse the list of available schemes and select the Pichhda Varg Tatha Alpsankhyak Udyam Yojana.
  • Carefully read the scheme guidelines, eligibility conditions, and benefits before proceeding.
• Step 4: Fill Out the Online Application Form
  • Enter all required details in the application form, including personal information, address, educational qualifications, business details (if applicable), bank account information, and any other information requested by the portal.
