Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

The Government of Rajasthan is accepting applications for the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Divyang Scooty Scheme 2026, a welfare initiative designed to improve mobility and independence among persons with disabilities. Under this scheme, eligible Divyang students and employed individuals receive a free scooty along with necessary retrofitment support according to their disability-related requirements. By providing personal transportation, the government aims to help beneficiaries travel conveniently to educational institutions, workplaces, training centres, healthcare facilities, and other important destinations without depending on others for daily commuting.

The scheme primarily benefits permanent residents of Rajasthan who have 40% or more disability and fulfil the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department. College and higher education students can apply to receive mobility assistance for continuing their studies, while employed persons with disabilities can use the scheme to travel to their workplaces more easily. The government plans to distribute thousands of scooties to eligible beneficiaries, helping them become more self-reliant and actively participate in educational, economic, and social activities.

For the 2026 beneficiary selection process, the Social Justice & Empowerment Department has invited fresh applications from eligible candidates. Interested applicants can submit their application online through the Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) Portal or visit their nearest e-Mitra Centre for assistance. As per the latest notification issued by the department, the last date to apply for the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Divyang Scooty Scheme is 31 July 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

To apply under the scheme, applicants must possess a valid driving licence and submit the required disability, identity, residence, and educational or employment-related documents. Applications are verified by the concerned authorities before preparing the final beneficiary list. Selection is carried out according to the scheme guidelines and available quota approved by the state government.

Apart from the Mukhyamantri Divyang Scooty Scheme, the Rajasthan Government also operates several welfare programmes for students, women, senior citizens, and economically weaker sections. Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant must have 40% or more locomotor disability certified by a competent medical board or medical officer.
• There is no age limit for eligible college students.
• For employed applicants, preference is given to persons aged 18 to 29 years.
• If scooties remain available, applicants up to 45 years of age may also be considered.
• Applicants receiving Divyang pension are exempted from submitting an income certificate but must attach a copy of their PPO.
• Applicants not receiving Divyang pension must ensure that the combined annual income of self/parents/guardian does not exceed ₹2 lakh.
• The applicant must submit an affidavit declaring that they have not received any motorised tricycle or scooty under any government scheme during the last 8 years.
• Applicants who applied previously but did not receive a scooty must apply again.
• A valid driving licence is mandatory.

Steps to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply for the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Divyang Scooty Scheme either through the Rajasthan SSO Portal or by visiting their nearest e-Mitra Centre. Eligible applicants must submit their application before its deadline, i.e. 31 July 2026.

Online through SSO Portal

• To Apply you need to visit the official Rajasthan SSO portal.
• The applicant must first register on the portal using either a Jan Aadhaar ID or a Google account.
• During registration, the applicant needs to provide the following details:
  • Full Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Password
• After successful registration, the applicant should log in to the portal using the registered mobile number and password.
• Once logged in, you will reach at dashboard, here select "SJMS DSAP" option.
• Now click on "CM Disabled Scooty Yojna sign"
• Carefully fill out the application form and upload the required documents, including:
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Jan Adhar Card
  • Income Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • 10th Marksheet
  • Passport-size Photograph
  • Disability Certificate (minimum 40% disability)
• Before final submission, review all the entered details and uploaded documents carefully. Then click on the Submit button.
• After submission, the application will be verified by officials of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. Once the application is approved, eligible candidates will receive a free scooter under the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Divyang Scooty Scheme.
• In case of a higher number of applications, priority will be given to applicants with lower annual family income and higher disability percentage.
• Selected beneficiaries will receive free scooties with retrofitment support under the scheme.

Apply through e-Mitra Centres

• Visit your nearest e-Mitra Centre.
• Inform the operator that you want to apply for the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Divyang Scooty Scheme.
• Provide the required information and supporting documents for the application.
• The e-Mitra operator will fill out the online application form and upload the necessary documents on your behalf.
• Carefully verify all details entered in the application form before submission.
• After successful submission, collect the application acknowledgement or reference number for future tracking.
• The Social Justice & Empowerment Department will verify the application and documents before preparing the final beneficiary list.
