The West Bengal Special Nutritious Food Kit Programme, also known as the West Bengal Nutritional Support Scheme for PVTG Community, is a nutritional support initiative launched on 23 October 2026. It aims to improve access to nutritious food among Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). The Chief Minister launched the programme at Kalajharia village in the Manikpara area of Jhargram district. The initiative will provide weekly food kits containing essential food items to vulnerable tribal families.

The Maharashtra Mukhyamantri Shaurya Padak is a state government award introduced to recognise the courage and bravery of police officers and personnel who take risks while performing their official duties. The Maharashtra Cabinet approved this award on 6 October 2026 under the Home Department. Through this initiative, the state government aims to honour police personnel who demonstrate exceptional courage while serving the public and carrying out their responsibilities.

The Maharashtra CM-SRISTHI Scheme 2026 is an initiative of the Maharashtra Government to promote research, innovation, technological development and industry collaboration in higher education institutions. The Higher and Technical Education Department issued the Government Resolution (GR) on 7 October 2026 after the Maharashtra Cabinet approved the scheme on 6 October 2026. CM-SRISTHI stands for Scheme for Research, Innovations and Technological Hubs in Higher Education Institutions.

About Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana

The Punjab Government has started the Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana to provide financial assistance to eligible women in the state. Under the scheme, eligible women receive monthly financial support through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The assistance amount depends on the beneficiary category. The scheme aims to provide financial support to women and improve their economic security.
