The "UP Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Shramik Puraskar Rashi Yojana" is an initiative by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to support the education of children of workers in registered factories, shops, and establishments.

Scheme Benefits

    • 60% to 74.99% marks – Rs 5,000/-
    • 75% or more marks – Rs 7,500/-

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Intrested to continue the education.
  • Monthly salary (basic + dearness allowance) should not exceed Rs 24,000.
  • The worker must be employed in an establishment registered under the Shops & Establishment Act, 1962, or the Factories Act, 1948, in Uttar Pradesh.

  • Residential identity proof(Aadhar card/Domicile)
  • Phone Number/Email ID
  • Copy of the bank passbook of the worker or their child.
  • High School / Intermediate, marksheet or certificate of the applicant.
  • Final year marksheet or certificate required for Graduate/Postgraduate.

Steps to Apply

  • Visit the official site of the Labour Welfare Council, Department, Uttar Pradesh
  • Click on “UP Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Shramik Puraskar Rashi Yojana”
  • If you are a new user, click "New User Register" and fill out the registration form. Submit it.
  • Your User ID and password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Log in with your User ID and password.
  • Select the scheme, fill out the form, upload your photo, and submit it.
  • Print a copy of the submitted application.
  • Now, get the printed application verified by your school and workplace.
  • Log in again, click on "Scheme Application Details", and upload the scanned copy of the verified application along with the required documents, then save.
  • After successful verification, the benefit amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiary's bank account. An SMS notification will be sent to the beneficiary's mobile number.
  • You can check the status of your application by clicking on "Application Status".
