Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

The Keralam Civil Service Fee Reimbursement Scholarship for Minorities is a financial assistance scheme run by the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Kerala, for the financial year 2025–26. The scheme supports students from notified minority religious communities, who are actively pursuing Civil Services Examination coaching at recognised centres in Kerala.

Under this scheme, the Keralam Government reimburses Rs 20,000 per student towards coaching fees. Students who stay in a hostel during their coaching period receive an additional Rs 10,000 as hostel fee reimbursement, bringing the total assistance for hostelers to Rs 30,000. The amount transfers directly to the student's bank account after verification and approval.

The Keralam Civil Service Fee Reimbursement Scholarship gives first preference to students from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families. In the absence of BPL applicants, APL category students from minority communities with an annual family income of up to Rs 8,00,000 are also eligible to apply.
