Eligibility Criteria

Entrepreneurship Development Programme
MSRY provides 3-day Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) and 6-day Advanced EDPs for students and other local participants. These programmes provide practical knowledge for starting and developing a business.

- Financial management for MSMEs
- Legal requirements for business
- Marketing, branding and business growth
- Government schemes and support institutions
Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes are also conducted across schools, ITIs, polytechnics, colleges, community halls and other suitable venues, with a focus on entrepreneurship awareness, Government support schemes and successful business examples. The outreach also covers youth, women and marginalized communities.
Note: MSRY does not provide direct loans, subsidies or cash assistance to individual entrepreneurs. Government funds cover programme expenses such as training, training materials, lodging and boarding.
Project Profiles, Mentoring and Start-up Support
- Under MSRY, 100 project profiles are developed every year across different sectors and shared through the MSRY Digital Dashboard and workshops.
- The scheme also provides an Idea Bank, business mentoring, handholding, e-library access, Talent Hunt activities and exhibitions to help participants develop their business ideas.
Steps to Participate in MSRY
The participation process depends on the type of participant. The official notification specifically describes the nomination process for faculty training.
For Faculty Members
- First, faculty members need to complete the prescribed MSRY nomination form with their personal, qualification and institution details.
- Submit the completed form to the Principal or Head of the concerned school, college or institution.
- The Principal or Head of the Institution will nominate the faculty member for the MSRY training programme.
- The nominated details will be forwarded to the Entrepreneurship Nodal Officer (ENO) of the concerned Directorate.
- The ENO will compile the nominations received from the institutions under the respective Directorate.
- The compiled nominations and prescribed faculty details will then be forwarded to the EDII-Goa Centre.
- EDII-Goa Centre will process the nominations and initiate the relevant capacity-building and Faculty Mentor Development Programme (FMDP).
For Students and Aspiring Entrepreneurs
- Students and aspiring entrepreneurs can check their educational or skilling institution for MSRY programmes announced for their participant group.
- They can participate in the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP), Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) or Advanced EDP as applicable.
