Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• The Tripura government is known for its efforts towards the betterment of students future and strengthening the education system in the state.
• To support this, the state government has announced various schemes, such as 'Super-30', 'Nipun Tripura', 'Tripura Science Talent Search Examination', and 'Math's Talent Search Examination'.
• Recently, the state government, led by Dr Manik Saha, introduced a new initiative called the "CM-SATH Scheme" (Chief Minister Scholarship for Achievers Towards Higher Learning).
• This scheme aims to support students who are unable to continue their studies due to financial constraints.
• Under this scheme, the state government plans to provide monthly assistance of Rs 5,000/- to the meritorious students of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary class.
• The assistance provided under the CM- Sath scheme will help students continue their education without any interruptions.
• A total of 200 students who excelled in their Madhyamik and HS examination will receive scheme benefits.
• Among these, 100 students will be selected from Madhyamik and 100 from HS level.
• Further these students will be selected from different administrative levels; including :
  • 152 students from block levels,
  • 12 from Nagar Panchayats
  • 26 from Municipality, and
  • 10 from Agartala Municipality.
• The assistance under the CM Sath will be provided until the students completed their higher education.
• It means, students of Madhyamik will receive this stipend for the next two years, until they complete their HS.
• While, students of HS will receive the stipend for the next three years, until they completed their Graduation.
• Assistance amount will be credited directly into the student's Aadhar linked bank account.
• District Education officers will shortlist meritorious students district wise, whose list will be shared online.
• Shortlisted students must submit their self attested documents to the District Education Officer (DEOs).
• If any students secure marks more then the students shortlisted and not secure their name in the list need to submit an application with their requisite documents in the given time.
• Applications received after the due date will not be considered.

Scheme Benefits

• Tripura CM-SATH scheme aims to provide following benefits to its beneficiaries : -
  • Monthly stipend of Rs 5,000/- to meritorious students of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary.
  • Stipend will be provided to 200 students (100 each from Madhyamik and HS).
  • Madhyamik students will receive this stipend for two years and HS students for 3 years.
  • Students can use this stipend for higher education.
  • Stipend amount will be credited directly to student's bank account.

Eligibility Requirement

• To receive the benefits of Tripura CM-SATH Scheme, students must satisfy the following eligibility criteria : -
  • Students must be domiciled residents of Tripura.
  • Students must be in the list of top 100 meritorious students in Madhyamik and HS class.
  • District Education officers will select the students from each district.

Required Documents

• Students must produce the duly attested copies of the following documents and details to receive the benefits of Tripura CM-SATH Scheme : -
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • 10th Board Admit Card.
  • Board exam Final Marksheet of class 10th or HS.
  • Students Bank Account (Linked With Aadhaar).
  • Mobile Number.

Steps to Apply

• Students are not required to submit an application form for the Tripura CM Sath Scheme.
• The authorities will prepare a list of meritorious students based on their marks in the board examination.
• A total of 200 students, 100 from 10th Board and 100 from H.S will be selected for the scheme.
• District Education Officer (DEO)will shortlist the students and release the Tripura CM-SATH Scheme Selection list.
• The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) will collect the list of shortlisted students from District Education Officers.
• Students shortlisted in the list must submit their documents to the DEOs.
• The stipend amount will then be transferred to the student's self bank account.
