About the Scheme

Sainik Schools and other reputed public schools provide students with quality education while helping them develop discipline, leadership skills, and a sense of national service. However, the cost of tuition fees in these institutions can be difficult to afford for many economically weaker families. In particular, many students belonging to the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities are unable to take admission in such schools or continue their education due to financial constraints.

Keeping this issue in mind, the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh is implementing the "Sainik/Public School Shikshan Shulk Pratipurti Yojana." Under this scheme, eligible students are provided reimbursement of tuition fees for admission and study in Sainik Schools or other eligible public schools/institutions. The objective is to reduce the financial burden on students and their families and enable them to access better educational opportunities without financial worries.

This scheme not only provides financial assistance but also encourages students from the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities to receive quality education, study in a disciplined environment, and move forward in defence services as well as other competitive fields in the future. Through this scheme, the State Government aims to ensure that financial difficulties do not become a barrier between deserving students and their education or a brighter future.

Objective of the Scheme

• The primary objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities for pursuing education in Sainik Schools and other eligible public schools.
• Through the reimbursement of tuition fees, the Government reduces the financial burden on these students so that they can receive quality education without financial obstacles and secure better opportunities in the future.

Eligibility Criteria

To avail the benefits of this scheme, the applicant must fulfil the following conditions:

• The applicant must belong to the Denotified, Nomadic, or Semi-Nomadic community of Madhya Pradesh.
• The applicant must be a student.
• The applicant must have secured admission and be enrolled in a Sainik School or an eligible public school/institution.

• Passport-size photograph
• Aadhaar Card
• Madhya Pradesh Domicile Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Samagra ID
• Bank Account Details
• Proof of admission/enrolment in the Sainik School/institution

Application Process

Applications for this scheme are submitted online through the Samarth Portal. If you have not registered on the Samarth Portal before, you must first create your user account. After that, you can log in using the same account and fill out the scheme application form.

• Step 1: Register on the Samarth Portal
• If you are applying for the first time, complete your registration first.
  • Visit the official website of the Samarth Portal.
  • Click on the "Registration" option available in the top-right corner of the homepage.
  • Enter your name, mobile number, email ID, and other required details in the registration form.
  • If required, verify your mobile number and/or email ID using the OTP received.
  • After filling in all the required information, click on "Register" to create your user account.
• Step 2: Apply Online for the Scheme
  • Visit the Samarth Portal and log in using your User ID and Password.
  • Select the "Sainik/Public School Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme" from the list of available schemes.
  • Carefully fill in all the mandatory details in the online application form.
  • Upload your passport-size photograph, Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, Samagra ID, bank account details, and other required documents in the prescribed format and file size.
  • Carefully review all the information entered in the application form. If you find any errors, make the necessary corrections.
  • Accept the Terms & Conditions, Declaration, and Privacy Policy (if applicable).
  • Finally, click on the "Submit" button to successfully submit your application.

Important: After submitting the application, keep your Application ID or the application receipt safe, as it will help you check your application status easily in the future.

What Happens After Applying?

• The concerned department will verify the application and the uploaded documents.
• If the applicant is found eligible, the application will be approved.
• After approval, the tuition fee will be reimbursed as per the provisions of the scheme.
