Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath launched the Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Yojana on 16 February 2021. This scheme has been designed for meritorious students who, due to financial constraints, are unable to access quality coaching for competitive examinations and cannot afford to move to other cities to pursue their dreams.

Under this scheme, students receive free preparation coaching for UPSC (IAS, IPS, IFS), UPPSC, JEE, NEET, NDA, CDS, Paramilitary/Central Police Forces, Bank PO, SSC, B.Ed/TET, and various other competitive examinations.

The scheme involves more than 500 IAS officers, 450+ IPS officers, 300+ IFS officers, and subject matter experts who provide training to students. The scheme is administered by the Social Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh, and has been implemented at both the divisional and district levels.

Under this scheme, students are also provided with syllabi and study material for all competitive examinations. Additionally, students can use the scheme's portal to access previous years' question papers and mock test papers for their exam preparation. The portal also offers subject-specific preparation videos across various disciplines.

Eligibility Requirements

• The student must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• The student must belong to a socially or economically backward class.
• The student must have passed the minimum qualifying examination required for the respective entrance exam.
• For JEE and NEET: students currently studying in or having passed Class 11 and 12 in the Science stream.
• For IAS and PCS exam coaching, students in the final year of graduation or those who have already graduated.
• For NDA and CDS examinations: educational qualifications as per the requirements of the respective competitive examination.

Steps to Apply

• Eligible students can register online for the Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Yojana
• Students can complete their registration at https://abhyudayup.in/ to avail the benefits of the scheme.
• From the homepage, select the registration link.
• Enter all your details accurately in the registration form.
  
• Select the examination you wish to prepare for.
• Fill in all required information in the application form.
• Review the information entered in the application carefully, then submit.
• Upon successful submission, a registration number will be provided — note it down for future reference.
• Candidates for in-person classes will be selected through an online examination.
• The date and time of the online examination for in-person class selection will be uploaded on the Abhyuday portal.
• The results of the selection examination for in-person classes will be published on the Abhyuday website.
• Currently, students are being selected for preparation of JEE, NEET, NDA-CDS, and UPSC/UPPSC examinations only.
