Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath launched the Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Yojana on 16 February 2021 to provide talented and enthusiastic youth with equal opportunities to prepare for competitive examinations. Under the scheme, eligible candidates receive free coaching, guidance and study support through online and offline modes. The initiative is particularly useful for students and youth who face financial limitations in accessing quality coaching and provides them with access to structured preparation without having to move to other cities. The Abhyuday Yojana provides free preparation support for several competitive examinations, including Civil Services, UPPSC, JEE, NEET, CUET, NDA, CDS, Banking, SSC, TET, TGT, PGT, UGC-NET and other recruitment examinations. The training is delivered through a hybrid learning system that combines physical classes at contact centres with an e-learning platform. Candidates can access video lectures, notes, test series, quizzes, assignments, previous-year question papers, preparation tips, live sessions and webinars. For candidates specifically preparing for civil services, the Uttar Pradesh SWD Free Coaching Scheme For Civil Services is another related government initiative.

Candidates must meet the educational qualification applicable to their selected examination. For JEE and NEET coaching, students studying in or having passed Classes 11 and 12 in the Science stream are eligible. For Civil Services and PCS coaching, final-year graduation students and graduates can apply. Candidates seeking coaching for NDA, CDS, CLAT, Banking, UPSSSC, TGT, PGT and other examinations must meet the qualification prescribed for the respective examination. The guidelines also provide for selection through an entrance or eligibility test, merit or interview, depending on the course. Candidates who qualify certain preliminary examinations, including Civil Services Preliminary and UPPSC PCS Preliminary, may receive direct admission as per the applicable provisions.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana portal by completing the registration form and selecting the examination for which they want to prepare. Candidates selected for in-person classes may have to appear in an online selection examination, with the examination schedule and results published through the Abhyudaya portal. Along with competitive-exam preparation, the scheme also provides career counselling and guidance related to entrepreneurship and skill development. Youth interested in developing entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities can also explore the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yuva Udhyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM-YUVA).

Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana 2026-27: Course Timetable

The Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana has announced the course schedule for the 2026-27 session for Civil Services Examination, IIT-JEE and NEET UG preparation. As per the latest notice, the Civil Services course will continue until 30 April 2027, while IIT-JEE and NEET UG courses will run until 15 March 2027 and 31 March 2027, respectively. The notice also directs that the classes should be conducted according to the course plan and academic calendar prepared by the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Secretariat.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana depends on the competitive examination and course selected by the candidate. Applicants must meet the educational qualification prescribed for the respective examination, while specific courses have separate academic requirements.

• The student must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• The student must belong to a socially or economically backward class.
• The student must have passed the minimum qualifying examination required for the respective entrance exam.
• For JEE and NEET: students currently studying in or having passed Class 11 and 12 in the Science stream.
• For IAS and PCS exam coaching, students in the final year of graduation or those who have already graduated.
• For NDA and CDS examinations: educational qualifications as per the requirements of the respective competitive examination.

Steps to Apply

• Eligible students can register online for the Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Yojana
• Students can complete their registration at https://abhyudayup.in/ to avail the benefits of the scheme.
• From the homepage, select the registration link.
• Enter all your details accurately in the registration form.
  
• Select the examination you wish to prepare for.
• Fill in all required information in the application form.
• Review the information entered in the application carefully, then submit.
• Upon successful submission, a registration number will be provided — note it down for future reference.
• Candidates for in-person classes will be selected through an online examination.
• The date and time of the online examination for in-person class selection will be uploaded on the Abhyuday portal.
• The results of the selection examination for in-person classes will be published on the Abhyuday website.
• Currently, students are being selected for preparation of JEE, NEET, NDA-CDS, and UPSC/UPPSC examinations only.
