Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

• Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is a major educational reform scheme of the Delhi Government.
• It was started on 07-09-2021.
• The main objective of this scheme is to encourage financially disadvantaged students to pursue further education by providing financial assistance.
• Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe Welfare Department of the Government of Delhi is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme was earlier known as Delhi Free Stationery Supply for SC/ ST/ OBC.
• Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is also well known by some other names mentioned below:-
  • "Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scheme".
  • "Scholarship Scheme for SC/ ST/ OBC Students".
• Yearly Scholarship will be provided under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana to those students who are currently studying in Class 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.
• Rs. 5,000/- per year scholarship will be provided to Class 9th and Class 10th students.
• Whereas, a Rs. 10,000/- per year scholarship will be provided to Class 11th and Class 12th students.
• Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Yojana is not for all students.
• Scholarship will be provided only to those students who belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and the Other Backwards Class categories.
• Scholarship under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana will not be provided to those students whose yearly family income is more than Rs. 8 Lakh.
• An Income Certificate is not mandatory for those students who secure more than 75% Marks.
• Repeaters: Students in a particular class are not eligible for a scholarship.
• Students must secure a minimum 50% marks in the previous class for Class 9th and Class 10th Scholarship and 60% Marks in the previous class for Class 11th to Class 12th Scholarship.
• Eligible students can apply for a scholarship under Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana by filling out the Online Application Form, which is available on the Delhi E District Portal.
• Applicants must submit their application form before the deadline.
• The last date to submit the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana application form is 30 April 2026.

Scheme Benefits

• The following financial assistance, as a yearly scholarship, will be provided to selected students under the Government of Delhi's Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana:-

  Class	Scholarship Amount
  9th to 10th	Rs. 5,000/- per Year.
  11th to 12th	Rs. 10,000/- per Year.

Eligibility Requirements

• Yearly Scholarship under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana will only be provided to those students who fulfil the following eligibility conditions of the scheme:-

  The Student should be a resident of Delhi. Student's Family Annual Income should be below Rs. 8,00,000/- per year with the EWS income limit. No income limit is applicable for students who secured a minimum 75% marks in the previous class. Students should belong to any of the following caste/ category:- Schedule Caste. (SC) Schedule Tribe. (ST) Other Backwards Class (OBC) The Student should have scored below the minimum marks :- 50% marks in previous year for Class 9th to Class 10th Scholarship. 60% marks in previous year for Class 11th to Class 12th Scholarship Student should be studying from class 9th to Class 12th in any of the below mentioned schools in Delhi :- Central Government Schools. Delhi Government Schools. Government of Delhi Aided Schools. Government of Delhi Recognized Schools. Government Local Bodies Schools Schools. Repeaters are not eligible for this scheme.

Required Documents

• Documents that are required to be uploaded at the time of applying for a scholarship under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana are given below:-

  Domicile Certificate of Delhi. Aadhar Card. Passport Size Photo. Caste Certificate. Income Certificate. Bank Account Details (must be in the name of the student) Previous Year Mark Sheet. Any one Document for Residence:- Ration Card. Driving License. Voter ID. MTNL Landline Bill. Mobile Number. Student Identity Card.

Steps to Apply

• Eligible Students can apply for a scholarship under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana through Online Application Form.
• The last date to submit the application form for 2026 is 30 April 2026.
• Online Application Form of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is available on E District Portal of Delhi Government.
• Student has to Register himself/ herself first.
• Aadhar Card is mandatory for Registration.
• E District Portal will send the User Name and Password on Student Mobile Phone.
• Student has to Log in then with the received User Name and Password.
• Choose Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana from the Apply for Services/ Scheme tab.
• Enter your personal details like Category, Caste Certificate Number and Annual income, etc.
• Enter your school details like present class and previous year marks.
• Fill in your Bank Details like Account Number and MICR code. Now click on Continue.
• After that, the document upload page will appear. Upload the following essential documents:
  • Residence Proof.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Mark Sheet of Previous Year.
  • Student ID Card.
• Preview the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana and click on the Submit Button to submit it.
• The student will receive an OTP on the registered number.
• Enter the OTP, and an Acknowledgement Receipt will be generated, take print out of it.
• Submit a receipt copy and the needed documents to the school for verification.
• Concerned Officials will verify the submitted Application Form and Documents.
• After verification, selected students will get a yearly scholarship under the Delhi Government's Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana.
