The Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Shramik Pravidhik Shiksha Sahayata Yojana (DAKSPSSY) is an initiative by the Government of Uttar Pradesh designed to provide financial assistance to the children of registered workers for pursuing technical education. Types of Technical Courses Included

• Degree-Level Courses: This category covers programs such as B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, MBBS, and other equivalent professional or technical degrees.
• Diploma-Level Courses: Includes Polytechnic, PGDM, and similar diploma programs offered by recognised institutions.
• Certificate-Level Courses: Covers ITI and other short-duration certification courses.

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• The worker must be employed in an organisation registered under the Shops and Establishments Act, 1962 or the Factories Act, 1948 within Uttar Pradesh.
• The total monthly earnings of the worker (basic salary plus dearness allowance) must not be more than ₹24,000.
• The student must be enrolled in a recognised technical institution or course.

Steps to Apply

• First, you need to visit the official website of "Labour Welfare Board Department of Uttar Pradesh.
• Now scroll and select the "Labour Application" option on the homepage.
• If you are a first-time user, choose "Register New User," complete the registration form, and submit it. Your login details will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  Sign in using your User ID and password.
• Choose the Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Worker Technical Education Assistance Scheme, fill in the required details, upload your photograph, and submit the application.
• Take a printout of the completed application form.
• Get the printed form verified by your educational institution as well as your employer or factory.
• Log in again, go to the "Scheme Application Details" section, and upload the scanned, verified form along with all necessary documents.
• After successful verification, the financial assistance will be credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account. A confirmation message will be sent via SMS.
• You can monitor your application progress anytime through the "Application Status" option.
