Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

When a child from a worker's family earns a spot in a competitive sports event, the financial burden of participation should never hold them back. The "Chetan Chauhan Shramik Krida Protsahan Yojana"(CCSKPY), launched on March 23, 2021, by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, provides this necessary support.

Implemented by the Labour Welfare Board, Department of Labour, the scheme offers one-time financial assistance to children of registered workers selected for district, state, national, or international-level sports events. Assistance ranges from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,00,000, based on the level of competition.
To be eligible, the parent must be employed in an establishment registered under the Factories Act, 1948, earning a monthly salary not exceeding Rs 24,000 with at least six months of continuous service. Up to two children per worker family can benefit from this scheme

Applicants who need guidance at any stage can reach out to their nearest District Labour Office, because no young athlete should have to navigate this alone.

Scheme Benefits

• Financial Assistance: Given to workers or their children selected for sports.

  • International level: Rs 1,00,000 per child (one-time payment).

Eligibility Requirements

• The worker must be employed in an establishment registered under the Factories Act, 1948
• The worker's monthly salary (basic pay + dearness allowance) should not exceed Rs 24,000.
• The worker must have completed at least six months of continuous service in the establishment and should still be employed at the time of application.
• The benefits of this scheme are limited to the worker or up to two daughters of the worker.
• Overall, the scheme is applicable for a maximum of two children of the worker.
• Only those players are eligible who were selected on or after 23 March 2021.
• If the worker herself is a female sportsperson, she is also eligible to receive the benefit.

• Choose the "Chetan Chauhan Shramik Krida Protsahan Yojana"(CCSKPY), and enter the required information in the form.
• Attach your photograph and submit the application.
• Download and print the submitted form.
• Get the printed form verified by the concerned institution and employer.
• Log in again and upload the verified form along with all necessary documents.
